Who We Are

Whyalla Wanderers Soccer & Social Club is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit community organisation based in Whyalla, South Australia. We exist to promote participation, inclusion, and wellbeing through sport, providing opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to be involved in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.

With over 300 members across soccer, netball, darts, and 8-ball, Wanderers is proud to be a central community hub for local sport and social connection. Our club is home to the Ravens Netball Club, the Whyalla Darts Association, and regular men’s and women’s darts and 8-ball competitions, bringing together a diverse range of participants year-round.

Everything we do is powered by volunteers — coaches, referees, committee members, canteen staff, and event helpers — who generously give their time to keep local sport accessible and affordable. Beyond competition, Wanderers supports the community through social events, youth programs, fundraising activities, and community initiatives that encourage teamwork, inclusion, and connection both on and off the field.
