How to Volunteer

Whyalla Wanderers Soccer & Social Club is proudly run by volunteers. From matchdays to community events and everything in between, our club relies on the time, skills, and support of people who care about local sport and community.

Whether you have a few hours to spare, specific skills to offer, or simply want to get involved and meet new people, there are many ways to help. No experience is required — just a willingness to be part of a great club.

Volunteers support the club across a wide range of roles, including:

• Committee and sub-committee roles

• Event and fundraising support

• Coaching and team assistance

• Sponsorship and grant support

• Canteen, counter meals, and matchday duties

• Gate duty and general operations

• Grounds, facilities, and maintenance

• Administration and behind-the-scenes support

To make volunteering simple and flexible, we use Volaby, our online volunteer management system. Volaby allows you to:

• View available volunteer roles

• Sign up for shifts that suit your schedule

• Receive reminders and updates
