Facilities and Functions

Whyalla Wanderers Soccer & Social Club offers a family-friendly and welcoming indoor function space, ideal for everything from private celebrations to large community events.

Our clubrooms feature a fully licensed bar, a large open-plan function area, and a 6m × 3m portable stage that can be set up for live entertainment, guest speakers or presentations. A kitchen is available for self-catering, external caterers or club-provided catering, with bain-maries available.

The venue is fully heated and air-conditioned and is licensed for up to 300 guests. It can comfortably seat up to 150 people, with round or square tables available for larger sit-down events.

We also offer:

• Basic Stereo System, controllable by guests via Spotify or personal devices, with speakers powerful enough for a 50 person event

  DJ-style sound system and lighting, controllable by guests via Spotify or personal devices, with speakers powerful enough for a 300-person room

• Wireless microphones and lectern for speaker nights and presentations

• Projector, screen and Wi-Fi

• EFTPOS and cash bar facilities

• Darts and 8-ball tables, perfect for relaxed entertainment, Christmas functions and social nights

Whyalla Wanderers regularly hosts birthday parties, engagement celebrations, wakes, quiz nights, corporate functions, community fundraisers and club events, with flexible catering and entertainment options to suit each occasion.

Late-night trading until 2am is available by approval, and our structured booking and risk-assessment system ensures all events are run safely and professionally.
